The Sweet Art of Maple Candy: From Sap to Treat

Once the syrup reaches the perfect temperature, it is removed from heat and allowed to cool slightly. Then comes the magic: the syrup is beaten or stirred vigorously until it thickens and turns opaque. This process introduces air and gives the candy its signature creamy texture and light color.

The thickened mixture is quickly poured into molds before it hardens. Traditional maple leaf-shaped molds are a popular choice, but you can get creative with different shapes to suit any occasion. Once set, the candy is ready to enjoy!
